Hour of Code


First and second classes were introduced to coding during the Hour of Code workshops facilitated by volunteers from HP during Computer Science Education Week. They enjoyed it greatly and hopefully will continue to do coding in the future.

The Running Club take on their 1st Cross Country


Our Running Club (3rd and 4th class) competed in their first cross country race on Friday the 25th November, in Terenure College.

3rd Class Shoe Box Appeal 2016


Ms O’Reilly and Ms Ward’s third classes decided to work with Team Hope and spread Christmas cheer to those in need. The girls made shoe boxes full of lovely gifts to send to children in Africa and Eastern Europe. They enjoyed doing this and were very generous in doing so- well done girls!

Sam Maguire Visits St. Pius X GNS!


We were extremely lucky and delighted to welcome Sam Maguire to our school on Tuesday 8th November. Denis Bastick brought Sam to visit us  and the excitement raised the roof! It was a great boost to our own Gaelic team ahead of their game in Croke Park on 9th November.

Farewell Fr. Aquinas
