This year St.Pius X GNS 4th class are taking part in a project called The Cock-a-doodle-doo project. This is a project where you get fertilised eggs delivered to your school all the way from Kilkenny.
They hatch in 2-3 days and you take care of them for 12 days. Today we got them delivered. A very nice man named Billy came to give us our fertilised eggs and he told us everything that we need to know to keep them healthy. We have to keep the temperature between 36-37 degrees. Stay tuned for more!

Day 3 Wednesday 16th May: Lots of visitors to the classroom but all still quiet!
Day 4 Thursday 17th May: Can you see the cracks? Looks like something is happening! On the evening of Thursday 17th we welcomed two of our new arrivals, Harry and Meghan! A third little one Louie was born shortly after and is doing well!! Talk about the classroom coming to life!!
