St. Pius X GNS Choir

Santa makes a flying visit to St. Pius X GNS!

My Canine Companion Fundraiser


We were delighted with the very generous response we got to our Halloween fundriaser for "My Canine Companion". Thanks to you we were able to donate €2750.

Fundraising


Well done to Cohen Heenan (Mr Smyth 6th Class) and Rubymae Heenan (Ms Goss Snr Infants), along with Ailbe who made and sold candles at the end of their road over the weekend. All money collected is in aid of SVP, so far they have raised €100.

Heather takes on her official role as Ambassador Dog in St. Pius X Girls`

All Ireland Cross Country


Congratulations to Ruby from 5th class who came 3rd in the All Ireland cross country final in Donegal at the weekend. Ruby came 3rd out of 167 competitors.  What an achievement!  Very well done Ruby!

Science Week 2022


The two 5th classes have had a very busy, but exciting Science Week 2022! They participated in a fun forensics workshop with Garda Brendan,talked with scientists online in real time and, after learning all about the human respiratory system, they made models showing the workings of the human lungs.
