Junior Infants have been learning about Africa. They've learned lots of interesting facts about the continent of Africa, sang some African songs, and learned poems about African animals. Here is Clíona showing us the beautiful cheetah she drew.
Ms. Sheehan and Ms. Smith's classes made gingerbread houses out of recycled milk cartons. We really enjoyed making them. Some of the girls even made a second one at home. Bronagh and Eimear very cleverly made an electrical circuit using copper tape, wire, batteries and bulbs to put a glowing light inside their homemade houses, [...]
Well done to Ms. Ward's 2nd class girls, who made these beautiful diorama's. All their hard work and effort certainly paid off as the finished results were amazing!
