We were delighted with the very generous response we got to our Halloween fundriaser for "My Canine Companion". Thanks to you we were able to donate €2750.
Well done to Cohen Heenan (Mr Smyth 6th Class) and Rubymae Heenan (Ms Goss Snr Infants), along with Ailbe who made and sold candles at the end of their road over the weekend. All money collected is in aid of SVP, so far they have raised €100.
Thank you to all the children, parents & guardians who got out and got active over the course of the June Bank Holiday Weekend. Thank you to all the parents and pupils who participated in the fittest challenge fundraiser organised by our fantastic Parents’ Association. There were huge efforts made throughout the long weekend. Thank you to everyone who donated to the St. Vincent De Paul collection in December 2020. Due to restrictions we could not do our usual food collection so we set up an online donation instead. The school and SVDP were overwhelmed by the generosity shown.
On behalf of the Parents Association we would like to thank you all for the outstanding generosity shown towards the Simon Community Collection. We were delighted to support the Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal this year. We had over 520 boxes donated. It was a fantastic response. Thank you to everyone who took the time to make up a shoe box.
The 2nd class girls held a fundraiser morning in aid of the Jack and Jill Foundation. They very generously donated some of their Communion money to this fantastic cause. Ms O’Reilly and Ms Ward’s third classes decided to work with Team Hope and spread Christmas cheer to those in need. The girls made shoe boxes full of lovely gifts to send to children in Africa and Eastern Europe. They enjoyed doing this and were very generous in doing so- well done girls!
